two examples this is how it fits to the clarinet mouthpiece, the reed and the mouthpiece are perfectly protected

Each musical instrument which uses a reed will always be vulnerable at that point. So it also is with the reed of a bassclarinet, every damage can be a small disaster. It also will happen to each clarinet player that a good playing reed ends up in the garbage bin after an unexpectedly wrong movement of the player or by a careless person passing by. That is why there are special mouthpiece caps available for protecting reed and mouthpiece together. But these can be damaged too and spending yet again several hundred euros on buying a new reed binder with a simple cap only because the cap is broken is a waste of money and resources. The 3D-Printer provides a nice escape.

The only question remaining is the color wanted.
